Kia Pledges Fundraising Drive for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® | 2023 “Accelerate the Good” Program

For the second consecutive year, Kia America is reaffirming its commitment to supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through a generous donation tied to each new eligible Kia vehicle sold or leased and delivered in the U.S. From November 16, 2023, to January 2, 2024, Kia will contribute a minimum of $1,500,000 as part of its ongoing dedication to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital within the framework of the “Accelerate the Good” charitable initiative. Building on last year’s success, Kia’s donation of $1.35 million earned them the prestigious title of the 2023 St. Jude New Corporate Partner of the Year.

In a concerted effort to raise awareness about St. Jude’s mission and its unwavering support for families facing the challenges of childhood cancer and life-threatening diseases, Kia is set to launch a poignant 30-second broadcast spot titled “The Season of Giving Back.” This spot will encapsulate Kia’s enduring partnership with St. Jude, showcasing the company’s commitment to advancing treatments and cures for pediatric diseases. Furthermore, it emphasizes St. Jude’s unique promise: no family will ever receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food, enabling them to concentrate on supporting their child’s journey to recovery.

Since its inception in 2019, Kia’s Accelerate the Good charitable program has supported various commendable causes. These include establishing scholarships for underprivileged students striving to pursue higher education, assisting high schools in reviving football programs after pandemic-related budget constraints, supplying essential personal protective equipment to medical facilities across the nation during the pandemic, and aiding the homeless population throughout the United States. Additionally, Kia has extended its generosity to animal welfare organizations, contributing to the rescue and preservation of endangered sea turtles and supporting initiatives to find permanent homes for shelter animals.

*Kia will donate $14 for every new Kia vehicle that is purchased or leased at authorized Kia dealerships, and delivered to retail customers, between November 16, 2023, and January 2, 2024 — with a guaranteed minimum donation of $1,500,000 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®.
