Texas-Themed Kia Telluride Debuts in New York

September 14th, 2018 by

Kia introduced their all-new 2020 Telluride SUV in memorable fashion – by featuring it, quite literally, at a fashion show. The new Kia Telluride made its first public appearance, last week, at the New York Fashion Week show.

Influenced by fashion designer Brandon Maxwell’s latest Texas-inspired runway collection, Kia customized a ranch-ready Telluride with saddle-like leather accents, and placed the eye-catching SUV directly on the fashion show’s runway, surrounded by a Texas-themed backdrop.

Originally from Longview, Texas, Brandon Maxwell is an American fashion designer, stylist, photographer, and director. The specially tailored Telluride included several nods to Maxwell’s Texas roots, including natural wood interior trim and saddle-inspired double-stitched leather adornments on the dash, door panels and grab handles. Similar leather details cover the outside rearview mirrors and door handles.

The Telluride is a striking three-row, seven-passenger, luxury SUV. The all-new Telluride is Kia’s largest and most refined SUV. It is taller, wider and longer than Kia’s current top-selling SUV, the Kia Sorento. The SUV features a muscular stance, and state-of-the-art technology, focusing particular attention on the experience and comfort of its passengers.

Ferguson Kia is eager to bring the all-new Kia Telluride to Northeast Oklahoma! We expect the Telluride production model to arrive at our new Kia, Tulsa showroom in early 2019!
