Kia Rio Earns Highest Rank in the Small Car Segment in J.D. Power’s 2018 Vehicle Dependability Study
The J.D. Power 2018 Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS) has ranked the Kia Rio as the leader in the Small Car category.
The J.D. Power Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS) has been the industry leading source of car reliability ratings for over 25 years. VDS examines issues reported by original owners of 3-year-old vehicles to determine which are the most reliable cars. The study aims to measure the long-term quality of vehicles, including new technologies and features currently available to buyers.
This latest achievement for the Rio reinforces Kia’s continued commitment to industry-leading craftsmanship. The Rio is yet another example of how far the entire Kia model line-up has progressed, and this kind of quality is tangible evidence of our long-term strategy to enhance the Kia ownership experience.
The 2018 Kia Rio stands out with an exterior defined by smooth surfaces and crisp lines, providing a more sporty and sophisticated look over the previous generation. The front end wears the latest iteration of Kia’s ‘tiger-nose’ grille, integrating newly designed headlights that are swept back for a more aggressive appearance.
