INTRODUCTION

The 2023 Sorento is offered in eight trim levels: LX, S, X-Line S, EX, X-Line EX, SX, SX Prestige and X-Line SX Prestige. The three-row SUV offers improved packaging across all trims, building upon its generous array of standard features.

All trims gain convenience features that were previously optional: the S gets a wireless smartphone charger; the EX gets an 8-way power front passenger seat and frameless rear view mirror; and the SX gets rain-sensing windshield wipers, power-folding exterior mirrors, and a 12.3-inch color digital instrument panel. The range-topping SX Prestige now comes with standard AWD, which includes gloss back exterior accents and revised bumpers.

The standard 50/50 split-folding third-row seats fold to expand cargo space if you’re not carrying a full passenger load. Reclining second-row captain’s chairs slide forward at your touch for easy third-row access. They can also fold over for even more cargo space. In the back, an available Smart Power Tailgate automatically opens when the Smart Key is detected, revealing a dual-level cargo floor that can hold taller items or conceal valuables.

Snow Mode is one of four available all-wheel drive modes, and is engineered to help reduce wheelspin for enhanced control in snow. The 2023 Kia Sorento’s 2.5T GDI I-4 8-speed available engine produces up to 281 horsepower and 311 lb.-ft. of torque. It’s also rated at a EPA-estimate 22/city and 29/hwy MPG (FWD).
