POWER & PERFORMANCE

At the heart of 2023 EV6 is an energy-dense Nickel-Cobalt-Manganese (80/10/10) battery pack available in two sizes: 58.0 kWh and 77.4 kWh. The low-mounted, underfloor pack delivers energy to both RWD and Dual Motor e-AWD electric motor layouts with varying horsepower at the front and rear axles for impressive traction and capability.

The 2023 Kia EV6 offers up to 576 horsepower (GT model) and an extended AER up to an EPA-rated 310 miles – and 339 miles in certified independent AMCI testing – across several configurations:

  • RWD: 58.0 kWh battery with a 168kW rear motor yields 167 horsepower and AER of 232-miles (Light RWD)
  • RWD: 77.4 kWh battery with a 168kW rear motor yields 225 horsepower and AER of 310-miles (Wind RWD, GT-Line RWD)
  • Dual Motor e-AWD: 77.4 kWh battery with a 74kW front motor and a 165kW rear motor yields 320 horsepower and AER of 274-miles (Wind AWD, GT-Line AWD)
  • Dual Motor e-AWD: 77.4 kWh battery with a 160kW front motor and a 270kW rear motor yields 576 horsepower (GT)

The 2023 Kia EV6 GT takes the driving experience to a whole new level with horsepower of a supercar and more torque than a pickup truck. It is Kia’s most powerful production vehicle ever. An energy-dense 77.4-kWh Nickel-Cobalt-Manganese battery pack serves a front-mounted 160kW motor, combined with a rear-mounted 270kW motor, to produce a combined power output of 576-HP and 546 lb.-ft. of torque.

The GT trim raises the threshold of performance for the already potent EV6 lineup. The top-level GT accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds, and top speed rises to 161 mph. In independent testing performed by leading third party AMCI, the EV6 GT out-accelerated a Ferrari Roma and Lamborghini Huracan Evo Spyder RWD.

Unique exterior front and rear fascia, neon accents, and 21-inch wheels set EV6 GT apart. Inside, vegan suede-trimmed, deeply bolstered performance front bucket seats are inscribed with the ‘GT’ moniker and green piping. Premium, EV6 GT-only touches adorn the cabin, including neon accents, lightweight front bucket seats, and a striped motif on the upper dashboard and front center armrest.
