2022 KIA CARNIVAL INTRODUCTION

The all-new 2022 Kia Carnival Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV) replaces the outgoing Sedona minivan to become a multifaceted and unexpected companion. Staking claim on the unoccupied space between SUV and family hauler, the 2022 Carnival arrives with a new name and is the first vehicle to be sold in the U.S. with Kia’s new logo proudly displayed on its sculpted hood.

RUGGED, SUV-INSPIRED EXTERIOR DESIGN

The 2022 Kia Carnival wears a bold and boxy appearance and conveys the visual language found on the brand’s recent and highly successful line of rugged utility vehicles, including the Telluride, Sorento, and Seltos. Up front, the new Carnival features a modernized “tiger nose” grille that gives substantial width to the face and artfully integrates the high-tech LED headlamps. On the back, sleek combination taillamps feature unexpected geometric shapes. Brawny wheel arches give a sense of volume to the body from the side view. Large two-tone mirrors and black/chrome rocker panel moldings contribute to the upscale look and feel. Dramatic hood lines enhance the minivan’s unexpected aggressive character.

Thanks to its flexible seating options, Carnival MPV claims best-in-class cargo space, with the option for removable 2nd row seats, as well as 3rd row seats that sink into the floor to make room for whatever you’re hauling. The 2nd row middle seat slides forward to give easy access to the front row passenger. It can also fold into a table for use in the 2nd and 3rd rows. In additon, the 2nd row seats feature a one-touch relaxation mode (SX Prestige) that offers a full recline, raised power footrests, comfy headrests, heating and ventilation, and cozy genuine leather seat trim.
